This serving station features a gorgeous acacia wood base with recessed garnish notches, and includes a 4-quart enameled cast iron Dutch oven with lid, and a 14-inch acacia wood serving spoon. A removable acacia wood trivet with inlaid silicone heat rings sits down in base to protect it from the heat, and it may also be removed and used independently which creates another recessed area for additional garnish items. Depending on what you've cooked up, add condiments such as cheese, avocado, herbs, tomatoes, citrus slices, croutons or bread to the built-in grooves. The base tray has built-in handles on the underside for easy transport from oven to table, and the serving spoon rests down in its carved out area while not in use. The pot may be used in the oven (without lid), or on the stovetop with lid. To protect the acacia wood periodically wipe the surface with food grade mineral oil.
